2. Using the site
You may use the site for lawful, personal purposes. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape member data, or post content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive or harmful.
3. Halal matching platform
- You must be 18 or over and legally free to marry to register.
- You must provide truthful information and one account only. Profiles are reviewed and may be declined or removed without reason given.
- Conversations are supervised by our Respected Imams and moderators. You consent to this supervision when you open or join a room.
- You must not share contact details, links, or request money in a conversation until the room has been marked ready by the Respected Imam.
- Message credits are consumed when a conversation is opened. Credits are non-transferable. See the refund policy for when credits are refunded.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, our safety guide, or the law. Serious matters may be reported to the authorities.
4. Bookings, courses and shop
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Bookings are confirmed by email. Course access is personal and may not be shared. Shop orders are subject to our delivery and refund policy.
5. Guidance, not professional advice
Content and sessions provide religious guidance and pastoral support. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. In an emergency call 999.
6. Reporting and complaints
Report content or behaviour using the report button or by email to safety@london-muslims.uk. Complaints about our handling of a report can be sent to the same address and will be reviewed by a different member of the team. We keep records of reports, decisions and complaints as required by the Online Safety Act 2023.
7. Intellectual property
Content on this site belongs to London Muslims or its licensors. You may share reminders and sermons freely with attribution and a link.
8. Liability
We provide the site and services with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, from the conduct of other members, or from events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
