What we do
We are a non-profit community organisation based in London. Our Respected Imams and volunteers run halal nikah services, an online Islamic study programme, free weekly learning circles, the Friday sermon in English, confidential Talk to Imam sessions, Tea and Talk gatherings after Jumu’ah, and an Islamic shop whose profits support the rest.
What we believe about community
Muslims in London come from every corner of the world. Difference of language, culture and school of thought is a mercy, not a barrier. Our gatherings and circles are deliberately mixed, our Respected Imams teach with respect for all the recognised schools, and no one is asked where they are from before they are asked how they are.
Our Imams and team
Our teaching and counselling team are qualified Respected Imams and experienced community workers. Female facilitators lead the Sisters circle and are available for one to one sessions. Every volunteer who works with children or vulnerable people is checked, see our safeguarding statement.
